Modelo 037: the simplified census form
Modelo 037 is the short census return for many individuals. If your case does not fit that form, the return is modelo 036.
When modelo 037 applies
The Tax Agency accepts modelo 037 in straightforward cases for individuals. If you have to report something the short form does not include, the form is modelo 036. Companies file modelo 036. Registration, changes, and deregistration happen on the census, not by issuing an invoice.

Uploading the PDF does not file it
In Factura Fácil you can store the modelo 037 or 036 PDF to complete your profile. That file does not reach the Tax Agency site. You file it there, with a certificate or Cl@ve when the procedure allows it. The first step is in registering as an autónomo.
Common questions
Does modelo 037 replace RETA?
No. Modelo 037 or 036 is the Tax Agency census. RETA is a separate filing at Social Security.
Does Factura Fácil file modelo 037 if I upload the PDF?
No. Storing the PDF does not send the form. You file it on the Tax Agency site.
