The payslip you receive from work
Wages from employment do not enter the calculation of modelo 130. You can store withholding certificates to review the amounts. They are not required there in order to file the income-tax return.
What does not change on 130
Modelo 130 is the advance payment on profit from the activity. A payslip paid by an employer is not income of that activity and does not change modelo 130. Issued invoices and recorded expenses remain the basis of the calculation. The app calculates 130 from that data and can generate the BOE file for import. You or your gestoría file the return.
- The payslip does not affect modelo 130.
- Modelo 130 comes from the activity’s invoices and expenses.
- The BOE file does not file the return.
Why you might store the certificate
You can store the withholding certificate and review the amounts next to your other papers. Filing the income-tax return does not require that certificate to be stored in the app. If you also pay RETA and the quota plus payroll contributions exceed the annual joint limit, Social Security returns 50% of the excess, capped at 50% of the RETA quota, on its own. The app’s estimate is orientative. Modelo 130 is explained in modelos 303 and 130.
