A quote the customer accepts and converts into an invoice
A quote agrees a price before the work. The customer can accept it online. The invoice starts when you convert that quote.
Accepting the price does not declare VAT
A closed quote is still an accepted offer, not the document of the operation. It has no invoice number and it does not feed modelo 303 or a billing record. The quarter’s VAT waits for the invoice. The fields on that invoice are in how to issue an autónomo invoice.
Online acceptance, then the invoice
In Factura Fácil you send the quote and the customer accepts it online, on the web, iOS, or Android. When the work should be documented, you convert it into an invoice: that invoice gets its number, the VAT, and withholding if the operation carries it. Until that step there is no issued invoice. Common questions
Does the customer’s acceptance already count as an invoice?
No. Acceptance closes the quote. The invoice exists when you convert that quote.
Is the quote sent to the Tax Agency?
No. If you turn on VeriFactu, the record that can travel is the invoice’s, not the quote’s.
