The VeriFactu QR on the PDF
When the record is sent in VeriFactu mode, the PDF includes a QR and a line to check the invoice on the Spanish Tax Agency site. The QR is added to the invoice. It does not replace it.
What the invoice still has to carry
Number, date, your details and the customer’s, a description, base, VAT rate and amount and, when it applies, income-tax withholding. That comes from the invoicing regulation. The QR does not fill in a missing tax ID. The field guide is how to make an autónomo invoice.
When Factura Fácil adds it
The QR is part of the VeriFactu flow with the certificate connected and the record sent. Until 1 July 2027 autónomos are in a trial period. A private customer and a company receive the PDF; a public body can also receive Facturae through FACe.
- The QR does not file modelo 303.
- Voiding a sent invoice creates a cancellation record.
- To fix amounts on an issued invoice, use a corrective invoice.
Common questions
Does the customer have to scan the QR to pay me?
No. The QR is for checking the record. Payment is still a transfer, Stripe, MONEI, cash, or whatever you agreed.
Does a simplified invoice carry it too?
If that invoice is in the billing system and the record is sent, the verification mark goes with the document. The minimum fields stay those of the regulation.
