A receipt without your tax ID
You can save a simplified invoice that does not show your tax ID. That records the document. It does not make the VAT deductible when the rules require a full invoice with your details.
Recording is not a VAT deduction
The receipt can enter the expense book. VAT on that document is deductible only if the invoice has the data the rules require, and in many cases that includes your tax ID. If it is missing, input VAT does not become a modelo 303 credit just because you typed it in.
- You can record the document.
- Without your tax ID, the VAT may not be deductible.
- Recording does not repair the receipt.
You confirm the fields
The app can read a photo or a PDF and propose the fields. You confirm them. If the tax ID is not there, do not invent it so the VAT fits. How the expense sits is in deductible expenses.
